OUR APPROACH
Our approach to developing responsive solutions is grounded in our systems-based framework for authentic community engagement and mobilization; the Aligning Community Systems (ACS) model builds on years of “systems thinking” experience and impactful community-based programs.
As a framework, ACS engages all sectors of the community as peers and equal stakeholders (with equal voices) in the community action planning process. Our ACS framework takes into consideration that “top down” action planning is only marginally responsive to the needs of marginalized communities. In today’s climate, youth, families and community stakeholders must have a voice in the decisions that impact their lives.
